First thing that came to mind was "cute".

I'm a little confused as to what you were insinuating with the metaphors? -- although I'm not even sure we can call them that.

Again, rhyme scheme? Yes, no?

Otherwise, I like the rhythm.

lol. I don't know what to call them either. I remember writing this when I was in Grade 8, and I read a lot of Dr. Seuss at the time... XD Yeah, the rhythm was mostly what came to me, and then the words just went along with it. It's about having someone who you loved and had faith in, and then realized that they didn't really deserve it.
