-- the dark beckons to me with its long, fingerlike shadows extending, drawing ever closer, looming ever clearer, it seems to split and surround and prepare, ready to swallow, but there is no need, I am drawn to the inky blackness that will blot out my existence, knowing nothing – it will be bliss.

this just kind of reminded me of being self destructive, willingly walking into something harmful either without not knowing the full extent of it or just not caring. and i really like how the dark is portrayed as something alive and calculating.

it does seem self-destructive; but more like a bad habbit or an addiction, where you know what your doing is bad on some level, but the rest of you cant be bothered to care, or even acknowledge that its bad. i like it <4
