Queen Aneres/Warlord Xela

Soooooo... Alex and I had an idea. We're pretty excited about it. And we're going to use the forum to brainstorm! =D

Queen Aneres of the Adnarim
- her family have been monarchs of the Adnarim for generations
- they died when she was 13 (don't know how yet), which was when she began to rule
- has grown up since then, but was quite the little royal brat
- positive traits: intelligent, makes herself heard, doesn't take anything from anyone, patriotic, protective
- negative traits: ruthless with people she doesn't like, acts without thinking, distrusting
- takes her role of Queen very, very seriously, and loves her people
- unthinkingly hates Eleets with a passion

I want Alex to do his own character outline.

What's this for?

Alex and I had a random little plot bunny, and I think we're actually going to make something out of it... I can post the little mini-story we did today. These characters are in it, but we'd semi-thought them up before.

Warlord Xela
- Xela short for Xelandos (because a warlord cannot have a name ending in 'a' and be taken seriously)
- Big cape
- Goatee??
- Not necessarily evil, but definitely ruthless
- Orphan found in the wasteland between our two kingdoms which I just decided was there
- About 5-10 years older than Aneres

Soooo just throwing this out there, but whenever I hear the name Adnarim, I think insectoids (arachnid?) and Eleets are elite, obviously, so they make me think of fat reptilians lounging around

If this is the case, I suggest that we, being of the nobility, are human, or at least mostly human, and humans serve s the rulers of the anthropomorphic populace.

Y'know what? Imma draw a map. That always clears things up.

I am sort of in love with you right now. All right. I really like the name. Are we going to have last names? I don't think our society needs last names. I like the idea of the humans ruling the anthropomorphic populace, but we need to figure out...

a) Why that decision was made; and
b) Why/How we're different from the people(ish) we rule

I like how you imagine the Adnarim v. Eleets. It'll work. Are they human-like, like a Star Trek separate species kind of deal, or just legitimate giant animals? What's their thought process like? I think it'd work best if they had a human mind, but one that's driven by their animalistic instincts. Imagine a bunch of giant insect-people with the intelligence of a human being and the instincts of a praying mantis.

... This is exciting. TYVM for the map, I can do those but they won't make sense to anyone but me. We can work out what they look like later. I'll mebbe have some sketches made by my more artistically talented friends. =P

EXCITEMENT. How do you want to actually write it? We could do it rp-style, or I do one chapter and you do the next, or we write together, or we each write a story from our pov. How do you want it?
