The hello kitty tin Empty
PostSubject: The hello kitty tin   The hello kitty tin EmptyMon Nov 23, 2009 11:23 pm

She pulled out from under her bed the Hello Kitty tin her grandmother bought for her from China town. It once was filled with sugar cookies, but now was the home of her prescription drug stash. Upon opening she could still faintly smell the sweet scent the cookies left behind. Pink, green, white, yellow; round, cylindrical, triangular and capsules rolled around the bottom of her tin. She breathed a sigh of relief in knowing all her problems would once again fade away after just swallowing a couple of these magic pills. ...

[This is what I wrote in writer's club about the tin... I guess I could base a short story on it... or possibly a scene from my novel... if you could help me build on it it'd be great, thanks =] ]

Great start Very Happy

to expand on this, it might help to ask yourself questions. I usually start out with thought processes, what my characters are thinking in a scene. if that fails, start asking yourself questions. what is her relationship with this grandma you mentioned? how did she first become addicted? do her family and friends suspect that she's keeping drugs in her room? stuff like that. study hope that was helpful. if it wasn't, ignore it. and good luck Very Happy
